One of Canon's wide range of film era zoom lenses. Rather slow and with a limited zoom range, it's not going to impress against anything newer, but would give not unreasonable perfromance if you were to compare it with one of the older EF-S18-55 lenses and would make a reasonable addition for a basic DSLR if you wanted something a bit longer and found one going cheap.
